Nicholas Pionek- Director of MSP Operations

Nicholas is a Stevens Point, Wisconsin native who worked toward an Associates Degree as a Network Specialist from Midstate Technical College in 2016. With that degree and an already solid friendship with Chris, Nicholas left the restaurant industry and pursued a career path with Sprinter, starting in the retail storefront in Stevens Point. Within 2 months, his support skills were quickly recognized as he was promoted from PC repair technician to a Senior Support Technician with the B2B division. Nicholas gained hands on experience in the field with setting up managed service technologies and data cabling systems for our managed clients. In 2018, he created and developed the Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone division as the lead VoIP Engineer. His efforts during this time have made Sprinter a leading provider and supporter of VoIP phone systems in Wisconsin. The growth didn’t stop there when in 2020, Nicholas was promoted to MSP Service Manager where he focused on providing excellent service as the Virtual Chief Information Officer (VCIO) for managed clients and began managing the Sprinter support team.

Today, Nicholas wears many hats as the current Director of MSP Operations which oversees and manages the VoIP division, the support desk, the local data cabling division, the onsite technicians, and the role of VCIO. He knew all those years ago that Chris was a hard worker and visionary. He knew, even starting as a PC repair technician, that working alongside Chris and Sprinter would lead to a successful and thriving technology career. Spending his days managing a strong support team, guiding businesses to more efficient and effective technology solutions, and assisting in the development of a stronger Sprinter workforce is what makes this new role so rewarding for Nicholas. He also has added to his wealth of knowledge by obtaining new certifications like the 3CX Advanced Certification, which lends itself to providing better VoIP support.

Outside of fantasy football season, which is a very a tense yet entertaining time for the Sprinter Team, Nicholas enjoys gardening fresh herbs, vegetables and some very tiny strawberries and also playing computer RPGs.

Whatever Nicholas is working on, know that he is working hard to make your businesses technology experience the best it can be.
